@radiesse - what do you mean by "the danger of paying for insurance"? I always figured people pay for insurance in order to be safe from danger.

I think that crop insurance it's very important for a farm to survive, even if major losses aren't expected. There's always something that could happen. This should be first before even home insurance. When it comes to this domain, it's all based on the profit made from crops. If something is to happen, the risks are very high and it's all on the farmer. Yes, is up to him to decide the level of coverage, but one should have the minimum at least.

The importance of insurance cannot be over-emphasized and neither can the danger of paying for insurance you don't need.
